Catfish Cabin is a rustic 2 bedroom 2 bath cabin situated on the banks of the Brazos River, just off Hwy 79 approximately 6 miles West of Hearne.

     

The cabin is featured as a rustic B&B, perfect for weekend getaways or small gatherings. It is quietly situated on 50 acres of wonderful wildlife and bird watching while enjoying the views of the river and the stocked pond for a great fishing experience.  Railroad enthusiasts can sit at the old rock picnic tables that were once an old state roadside park and watch the trains come over the Brazos River on an antique iron bridge that dates back to 1897.

The cabin is furnished and provides the following amenities:

There is plenty to do nearby. Just 13 miles away is historic Downtown Calvert. Enjoy the day browsing the many antique shops that line Main Street or tour one of the many historic homes. A quick 30 minute drive to Bryan/College Station, home of Texas A&M University, finds all the features of a large college town. Malls, specialty shops, movies, restaurants, the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum, Texas Aggie sports events, nightclubs, parks, concerts and more.
